For the fourth year in a row, Bochemie is providing financial funds for two key programmes designed to help our employees as much as possible.
Our A friend in need is a friend indeed!” programme provides support to employees that face difficult circumstances. We received one application this year. Due to the severity of the situation as well as the number of people who supported the request, we provided twice the requested amount.
The second programme, Work isn’t everything”, is aimed at supporting projects in which employees are involved in their spare time, such as sports activities, running children’s clubs or volunteering. We received a record-high eleven applications this year and they were all approved. We will thus be able to support a dance troupe and tourists from Petřvald, volunteer firefighters from Rychvald, Záblatí and Starý Bohumín, young girls training for the Sokol Festival, Bohumín model train association, TIP KICK foosball, as well as skateboarders and young footballers.
We believe that the provided support will assist our employees in overcoming their challenging life situations and contribute to the further development of their projects. At the same time, we would like to thank all those who took part in these programs and showed their selfless commitment to the welfare of their communities.
